Join Our Client's Team!

We're looking for enthusiastic and hands-on Production Operatives to become part of our clients growing team. We welcome both temporary and permanent applications.

Shift Pattern Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) *with overtime opportunities available*

  • 06:00 - 14:00
  • 14:00 - 22:00

Please note the above shifts may not necessarily be rotating every week - therefore, flexibility is required dependent on business needs.

Training:

Initial training will take place on a standard day shift (Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00)

Salary:

Starting at 31,200 per year (this includes 20% shift allowance), with the opportunity to progress to 36,000 per year!

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Production Operative, you'll work across a variety of tasks including fabric welding, cutting, industrial sewing, assembly, and packing. Quality, safety, and timely delivery are at the heart of everything we do. You'll collaborate with a supportive team while also working independently to meet our high standards and customer expectations.

Previous manufacturing experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tasks such as fabric welding, cutting/slitting, industrial sewing, fabrication, assembly, and packing.
  • Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and meeting customer deadlines.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and under your own initiative.
  • Read and interpret work sheets, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Use computer systems for shop floor data collection and works order closing.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and manufacturing specifications.
  • Keep the work area clean and tidy in line with Health & Safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Strong Health & Safety awareness.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Forklift experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Be able to confidently read and understand a very basic CAD-style drawing
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Physically demanding role to include bending and twisting.
