Responsibilities:
- Act as a role model and advocate for Food Safety.
- Conduct Internal Audits & Hygiene Inspections.
- Support new starter inductions.
- Support with customer complaints responses and internal investigation.
- Assist in Maintaining the IMS system is up to date and work in conjunction with the Technical Lead updating and reviewing procedures, work instructions and master forms.
- Support during external third-party audits and customer visits as required.
- Support the implementation of ISO45001 standard.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture, working in collaboration with other departments, to improve quality, controls and operating performance, reduce waste and control cost.
- Act as a role model and advocate for environmental sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Co-Ordinate and oversee environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals.
- Ensure the industrial operations are following local regulations.
Person Specification:
- Experience of environmental management systems e.g. ISO14001
- Environmental Audits.
- In depth understanding of Quality Control procedures and relevant legal standards.
