Job Title: FLT Driver
Location: Ledbury
Contract: Temporary to permanent
Pay Rate: £13.00 p/h
gap personnel are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client’s team at a busy manufacturing operation in Ledbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and skilled forklift operator looking for a long-term position with potential to become permanent after 12 weeks.
Please note: this role involves working in chilled environments (average temperature between 0°C and 4°C).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Moving stock and materials around the site
- Supporting with general warehouse duties when required
- Following all health & safety procedures on site
Requirements:
- A valid and in-date FLT Counterbalance license (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Basic Hours & Pay Rate:
Monday to Friday 14:00- 22:30 set shift or
Monday to Friday (weekly Rotational)
- 06:00 to 14:30
- 14:00 to 22:30
- Basic Rate - £13.00p/h
- £16.25 Overtime rate paid after 48 hours completed
