Key Responsibilities as Administrator:
As an Administrator, you will be an integral part of a team of three, reporting to the Export & Logistics Manager within the Supply Chain department. Your main duties will include:
- Coordinating Import and Export Logistics: Ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods including the completion of export documentation - all training will be provided.
- Managing Transport Bookings: Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and brokers to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records for shipments, including invoices, customs declarations, and compliance documents - full training will be provided on export paperwork.
- Metrics Monitoring: Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying challenges and implementing efficiency improvements.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 years experience in an Administrator role ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Any knowledge withinsupply chain, procurement, logistics, shipping, or international trade would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong Excel skills with good numeracy skills in order to produce reports
- Willingness to complete training in International Trade, and import/export procedures.
