Agricultural Engineer

Agricultural Engineer required for a respected name in the agricultural machinery sector, known for quality engineering, reliable service, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Based in the heart of rural Herefordshire (Ledbury), we support a wide range of farming operations with expert repairs, maintenance, and bespoke fabrication solutions.

• Diagnose and repair faults on agricultural machinery and equipment
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing on a variety of machinery (tractors, implements, trailers, etc.)
• Undertake welding and fabrication tasks, including bespoke metalwork
• Support in the build and modification of custom machinery
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in the workshop and on-site
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring client satisfaction
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

• Proven experience in agricultural engineering, machinery repair, or mechanical maintenance
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Welding and fabrication skills essential (MIG/TIG/Arc)
• Full UK driving licence (trailer/towing experience advantageous)
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret machinery schematics
• Self-motivated with a practical, can-do attitude
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime or support on-site jobs

• Salary between 30,000 and 35,000, based on experience
