Marks Sattin are currently working with a well-established and growing service provider based in North Leeds for the role of Assistant Management Accountant!
This newly created position reports to the Finance Manager and will support the production of management accounts, assist operational teams, and contribute to financial reporting and analysis.
Our client is looking for a candidate with 5+ years working experience and has strong Xero experience. SME experience within industry would also be highly beneficial for this role!

Main Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Complete month-end tasks such as journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis and provide commentary
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile intercompany and director loan accounts
- Work with operational teams to ensure financial accuracy
- Support junior finance staff and transactional processes
- Identify and implement process improvements
