Due to continued growth, our client, a leading independent chartered accountancy practice in Leeds, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.
This well-established firm provides a full suite of accounting, audit, and tax services to a diverse client base, ranging from small businesses to AIM-listed companies, primarily across Yorkshire. Committed to delivering exceptional service, they take pride in building long-term client relationships.
In this role, you will work closely with Audit Managers and Partners, taking ownership of audit files and drafting financial statements. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop within a supportive and professional environment.
Audit Senior Job Overview
- Attend 'on-site' audit fieldwork, meeting clients at their premises
- Liaise with clients' senior management team and lead the audit team onsite
- Report to one of our Audit Managers or direct to a Partner
- Take responsibility for the completion of audit files
- Draft audited financial statements for a range of clients
Audit Senior Job Requirements
- Qualified/part-qualified ACA/ACCA
- Audit experience in an accountancy practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a growing team, dealing with clients and other team members
- Experience with ProAudit, IRIS and SAGE would be preferable
Audit Senior Salary & Benefits
- Circa 30,000 - 35,000
- Working hours: 38 hours a week
- Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
