This permanent role involves ensuring accurate revenue and gross profit accounting and overseeing intercompany accounting processes.
Candidates must be fully qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proactive mindset and strong Excel skills.
Experience with the SAGE accounting system is preferred, and industry experience is favored over audit experience.

Hybrid Working

We're partnering with a leading UK-based business to find a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a permanent role where you'll be key in ensuring accurate revenue and gross profit accounting, alongside overseeing intercompany accounting processes. If you're a fully qualified accountant with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate monthly accounting of revenue and cost of sales across UK Processing business units
Review gross margin performance and variances to budget/KPIs
Collaborate with the FP&A team to align accounting and reporting with weekly operational insight reports
Oversee the intercompany accounting process, working closely with finance teams to ensure correct transactions and agreement of balances between entities

Required Skills and Experience:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to handle complex data
Experience with SAGE accounting system (preferred but not essential)
Proactive and solutions-focused approach to resolving queries
Strong team player with an ability to collaborate across different areas of the business
Preferable experience working in industry rather than solely within audit
