Yes, you'll be producing monthly management accounts. Yes, you'll do the usuals - P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, reconciliations, month-end, budgets, forecasts, journal postings, accruals.
But here's the difference: You won't be stuck in a silo.You'll actually be talking to people outside of the finance team and getting real answers, making a real impact.
You'll be explaining the story behind the numbers and helping the business make faster decisions.
You'll also be supporting a small finance team and helping them level up, so if you've got a mentoring bone in your body, it'll come in handy while looking after two Finance Assistants.
You'll be paid an annual salary of up to £38k + study support.

You're probably AAT qualified (or similar), part-qualified (CIMA or ACCA) or qualified by experience. You've used Xero and you're fluent in Excel, and you've got a couple of years experience under your belt.
You take ownership, you hit deadlines, you spot problems before they become problems.
And you like working with non-finance people, you're not afraid to have a conversation, explain things, and push back when needed.
