SJC Partners are delighted to be hiring for a great opportunity as a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role is key in preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, supporting a small finance team, and collaborating with operational teams across the business. This role will report into the Finance Manager who will be supporting the position on a day to day basis.As the successful candidate your day to day responsibilities will include:
  • Compile accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
  • Perform month-end closing activities including journal postings, accruals, and prepayments
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance
  • Reconcile inter-company and shareholder/director loan accounts on a monthly basis
  • Reconcile balance-sheet accounts, Accruals and Prepayments
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Support finance team members to ensure day-to-day transactional tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Work closely with operational teams to explain financial processes, to Gather required data and resolve queries
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls in a supportive, collaborative manner
  • Build effective relationships to improve cross-departmental understanding of financial drivers
