Roles & Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including revenue recognition, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, fleet costs, and intercompany transactions
- Conduct month-end reviews and variance analysis
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to enhance management information
- Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules and assisting with audit queries
- Liaise closely with key stakeholders across operations, finance, and external partners
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles and reporting cycles
- Confident using financial systems and Excel to analyse and present data clearly
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments
