Local Authority - Principal Accountant
£400 - £450 per day inside IR35
Hybrid working - Yorkshire

We’re working on a new and important role with a Local Authority, supporting an established Children’s Social Care team. Tasked with supporting the Finance Business Partner in budget management and analysis whilst meeting with and advising key stakeholders, it’s a great chance to make an impact on an important service within a good team. The role is continuity cover pending permanent recruitment, following a restructure in early autumn.
The post holder will work closely with and support senior management whilst ensuring year end accounting procedures are compiled. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and work collaboratively to match the culture of the organisation. Whilst Children’s specific experience is not essential, prior Local Government experience and a full CCAB qualification are.
