A trusted and leading independent Accountancy and Business Advisory firm based in the North of England and Scotland are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant.

The main elements of this role will include:

  • Completing draft financial statements for a mixture of basic / large / complex sole practitioners, partnerships, LLPs, EOTs and companies ready for review by a Business Services Assistant Manager / Manager
  • Completing meeting packs and annual benchmarking reports for all Business Services assignments
  • Completing draft business tax computations ready for review by a Business Services Assistant Manager / Manager
  • Understanding and comparing KPIs for our Business Services assignments and ensuring the calculations make sense
  • Assisting with preparing Pricing Options documents as required and this includes the use of the Pricing Matrix
  • Assisting with researching the marketplace for potential new leads

The Candidate:

  • A Full UK Driving Licence
  • Either AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified already
  • Experience of working in an Accounting capacity at an Accountancy Practice
  • Comfortable working in a fast past environment
  • A dedicated team player and willing to assist colleagues within the team where possible
  • Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Able to use initiatives and have great organisation / problem solving skills
  • Keen to become part of a dynamic team
  • Involvement in AAT training development for students
