Assembly Engineer required for a well-established production machinery manufacturer for the food industry, based in Leeds. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Engineer to join their assembly and production team.
Assembly Engineer Job Overview
- Carrying out mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assembly and build of equipment and bespoke products
- Inspecting and repairing faulty equipment
- Providing technical support to customers
- Maintaining the inventory of spare parts and tools
- Assisting the installation of new equipment
Assembly Engineer Job Requirements
- Experience within a Mechanical / Electrical Fitting, Machine Assembly or Maintenance related role
- Qualifications within mechanical or electrical engineering
- Based in a commutable distance of Leeds
- Experience or an understanding of equipment calibration is desirable
- Conversant with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Assembly Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary 30,000
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00, Friday 07:30 - 14:15. Permanent position.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing to 28 days after one year's service)
