Field Service Engineer

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer living in the West Yorkshire area?

Are you multi-skilled with the ability to work on electrical and mechanical systems?

If so our client, an electro-mechanical manufacturer, will be interested to hear from you!

This Field Service Engineer role comes with an excellent base salary, annual bonus, enhanced pension and a friendly / positive culture. Travel is required but this is domestic and fully expensed. As Field Service Engineer you will work on site with a range of clients to install, maintain and repair a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.  You must be able to read electrical schematics and have the ability to fault find on control panels. Any hands on experience with gears, motors, hydraulic and/or pneumatic equipment would be a major advantage.

Field Service Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Service Technician:

- Install, service and maintain electrical and mechanical products on varying sites
- Travel will be required but this is fully expensed
- Regular customer contact as the face of the company
- Provide support to the sales team and be aware of cross selling opportunities

Field Service Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Service Technician:

- Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Some experience of installation, servicing and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Experience of lone working as sole engineer on site
- Excellent customer and communication skills
- Comfortable with travel and periods away from home
