Calibre Search are currently working alongside an award-winning architectural practice based in Leeds who are looking to add a Principal Designer to their established team.
With studios in Leeds and London, this practice have been creating lasting, sustainable architecture for over 50 years and have developed a strong reputation for their people-centred approach to design.
Working across sectors including BTR & residential, workplace, education, heritage and hospitality, they continue to deliver transformational projects that enhance towns and cities across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key compliance role, ensuring projects meet Building Regulations and CDM requirements whilst working alongside a talented and diverse team on high-quality, award-winning schemes.
To confirm, ideal candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and CDM 2015 requirements.
- Experience acting as Principal Designer on projects across multiple sectors.
- Proven ability to manage health and safety throughout design and construction phases.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with design teams, contractors and clients.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively across project teams.
