A dynamic, design-led architectural practice is seeking a Project Architect with 5-10 years of experience to join their growing team in Leeds city centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Project Architect to work on a range of complex and rewarding projects across sectors including residential, commercial and public sector frameworks.

The Role

As a Project Architect, you will take the lead on a variety of projects from inception through to completion (RIBA Stages 0-7), collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and clients to deliver thoughtful, technically robust design solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading medium to large-scale projects through all RIBA stages
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
  • Producing detailed design and technical packages, including working with Revit
  • Coordinating with consultants and managing delivery on site
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff within the team
  • Contributing to project planning, resourcing, and quality assurance processes

The ideal Project Architect will bring:

  • 5-10 years post-Part III experience, ideally in commercial, residential, or public sector work
  • Strong technical knowledge and design ability
  • Confidence working independently and within a team structure
  • Proven experience delivering projects through all work stages
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential) and BIM workflows
  • A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
  • An interest in sustainable design, MMC, or net-zero carbon strategies (desirable)
