Design Manager - Leeds - Construction

Design Manager - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced design manager to join a leading, tier one contractor working on a variety of high value projects. Previous experience as a design manager is essential.

Duties

• Manage the design process during pre-construction and construction phases.

• Interrogate enquiry documents, including Employer's Requirements.

• Drive innovative and cost-effective solutions while progressing design issues within strict timescales.

Experience

• Experience in delivering high-value, complex design work from the main contractor perspective.

• Ability to organise, plan, programme, and manage workloads.

• Understanding of Building Regulations, Planning Permission procedures, and DFE projects.
