Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst / Consultant
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits: 24,000 - 38,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Highly respected asbestos consultancy is currently recruiting for a professional asbestos consultant to join their expanding Yorkshire office. You will be joining a long-standing team of asbestos sites, undertaking high-end and technical surveying and analytical duties to a varied client base. The client is able to offer training into further P certs, so is happy to consider a driven surveyor who is looking to develop into a split role.

Consideration will be given to applicants based in and around; Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Bradford, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Barnsley, Doncaster, Mexborough, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop and Chesterfield.

Experience
- BOHS P402 (Minimum)
- BOHS P403/4 (Desirable)
- Expert knowledge of HSG: 264 and 248 guidelines.
- Experience working as an asbestos surveyor and / or analyst, ideally within a consultancy setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication experience.

The role:
- Delivering the full range of asbestos surveys in accordance with HSE guidelines, to a mixed portfolio of clients across the Yorkshire region.
- Identifying and sampling suspected ACMs.
- Using handheld tablet and associated software to record accurate site findings.
- Producing detailed survey reports and following up with clients to provide technical consultancy services / advice.
- Carrying out reinspection audits of survey reports.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.

If P403/4 is held:
- Air Monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with HSG: 248.
- Undertaking 4 stage clearances.
- Supervising removal works and signing off satisfactory removal works.
