We are assisting a leading UK broker in Leeds city centre as they look to add an ambitious Account Executive to their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Executive looking for a new challenge with a broker offering excellent career prospects, or an aspiring Account Handler that has perhaps dabbled in being an Exec and ready to make the step up. They are looking to invest long term and support someone who will take on a sizeable portfolio of existing clients from a retiring Account Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inherit a book generating c£300k in income which is made up by a broad range of risks and industry sectors
  • Working alongside the Sales Director and other Account Executives to continue pushing the branch forward
  • Build long standing relationships with new and existing clients
  • Utilise your insurance industry knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities to enhance the existing book
  • Demonstrate your self-motivated and hardworking nature to meet and exceed set income & retention targets
  • Drive quality, consistency and accuracy in all aspects of the sales and retention process
  • Use your excellent communication and client handling abilities to ensure an outstanding client experience at all times

Qualifications

  • A track record in retaining existing and placing new business in the commercial insurance industry, either as an Account Executive or Account Handler is essential
  • Ability to cover the West Yorkshire region, utilising your diary management skills to ensure you maximise your client reach
  • A genuine interest in building long standing working relationships with clients
