Elevation Recruitment are currently looking for a detail-driven Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients Firm Disbursements team. You’ll play a key role in processing disbursement invoices, managing payments, and supporting the transition of responsibilities from Cashiering to Accounts Payable teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process disbursement invoices using Chrome River and 3E

  • Manage bulk uploads, supplier statements, and matter recharges

  • Reconcile aged vendor accounts and pre-paid balances

  • Set up new vendors and resolve invoice queries

  • Support and train junior team members

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly

What You’ll Bring
  • 2–3 years’ experience in disbursements or accounts payable (legal sector preferred)

  • Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules (desirable)

  • Confident communicator with strong Excel skills

  • Organised, accurate, and able to manage deadlines

  • Keen interest in process improvement and financial operations
