Works Operative - Full-Time Opportunity
Salary: 25,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours: 35 hours/week
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Works Operative to join a multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent customer service, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and safely process orders in line with established procedures and timelines.
- Load and unload vehicles using a counterbalance forklift truck.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and quality standards.
- Manage stock levels of packaged finished goods with precision.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, including 5S principles.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Support broader site operations, including general upkeep and other duties.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment.
- Valid counterbalance forklift license (essential).
- Strong initiative and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a flexible and professional approach.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Competent in using computers and relevant software.
