Route 1 is currently working with our client is LS9, who are looking to add production operatives to their busy team.
You will initially start on training across multiple lines to understand how the business works, and then will be placed on a permanent department. You will be expected to demonstrate skills in safety and the basic operational process.
To be successful in this role you must have hands on experience with manufacturing or furniture assembly.
Your daily duties will include, however will not be limited to:-
- Safe manual handling of various materials.
- Reading plans and building from drawings.
- Meeting daily KPI's.
- Completion of uality checks.
- Reporting production problems immediately.
- Completion of jobs with a positive attitude.
Requirements of the role:-
- Ability to have a basic understanding of technical drawings.
- Experience with transferrable skills with hand tools.
- Experience in a production environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ann understanding of Health and Safety.
- Read and Write in English.
Salary starts from 12.59 per hour, with a bonus for shift work.
Working pattern - rotational 6am - 2pm - 2pm - 10pm, there is an opportunity to work Monday to Friday when these roles come up, however most will start on the rotational shifts.
