As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of automated and semi-automated machinery. You’ll be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and minimising downtime through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery in line with production schedules.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
  • Identify and report any faults, inconsistencies, or potential improvements.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and adjustments to optimise performance.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily targets.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Good understanding of health and safety standards.
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude.
