Cogent Staffing are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the basic operation of machinery, as well as loading and unloading materials. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Temporary contact until xmas (could go on for longer or become permanent depending on company circumstances).
THE ROLE:
- Operate machinery in accordance with company guidelines and safety standards.
- Load and unload materials onto/from machines.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Previous experience in machine operation is preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of machinery operation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
THE SALARY & BENEFITS:
- 12.21 per hour
- Temporary ongoing contract (would take the candidate through til xmas)
- Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00 (30 min break)
- Free car parking, local eateries, Fuel stations and transport links
- Weekly pay, every friday.
