The CompanyA nationally recognised broadcaster is building out a centralised Audience Insights team to place data at the heart of strategic and commercial decisions. This function acts as an independent thought leader within the business-partnering with senior stakeholders to drive insight-led growth across content, advertising, audience, and distribution.
The commercial insights team works directly with the Chief Revenue Officer and sales leadership to develop actionable strategies that enhance campaign effectiveness and drive revenue.
The RoleAs Senior Insight Analyst, you will support commercial decision-making by delivering high-value analysis across media performance, advertising strategy, and audience engagement. Reporting into the Insight Business Partner for CRO & Distribution, you'll be responsible for shaping briefs, running complex analysis, and translating data into actionable commercial insight.
This is a hands-on, senior-facing role working with both internal stakeholders and external agencies to lead key projects, from campaign evaluation and thought-leadership to bespoke research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:-
Translate stakeholder objectives into clear analytical plans and insight projects.

Analyse internal data and market tools (e.g. BARB, TGI, AdIntel) to assess performance and campaign impact.

Commission and manage external research to support advertising effectiveness and sales positioning.

Deliver clear insight reports, presentations, and recommendations for commercial stakeholders.

Support wider audience insight initiatives across the year-including branded studies and market thought-leadership.

Contribute to the development of self-serve data tools and internal capability building.
Essential:

Strong experience analysing large datasets and delivering actionable commercial insights.
- Exposure to research tools such as BARB, TechEdge, AdIntel, TGI, or Touchpoints.

Advanced Excel skills with the ability to condense complex analysis into clear summaries.

Skilled in storytelling and presenting data to senior non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders at a senior level.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly across fast-moving teams.
Desirable:

Familiarity with SQL, and experience querying databases.

Knowledge of the UK media or advertising industry.

Experience commissioning and managing quantitative or qualitative research.
