We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Drivers Mate to join us in New Malden for our client, one of the leading retail companies, B&Q.
What you will do on a typical day:
- Deliver goods to customer homes and trade sites accurately, safely and on time
- Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading of vehicles as and when required
- Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
- Assist the delivery driver in parking and manoeuvring a company vehicle
What you need to succeed at the role:
- Good customer service skills
- Strong communication skills both face to face and on the phone
- Excellent time keeping, reliable and trustworthy
- Previous experience of multi drop home delivery is desirable
Shifts & Salary:
You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week on a shift pattern of 'any 5 from 7’ with the start time of 07:00.
Pay, benefits and more:
- Hourly rate of £12.21
- Overtime paid at time and a half rate
