WEEKEND REACH TRUCK DRIVER - D1/D2

WORKING SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: 07:00 - 17:00

£13.47 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a D1/D2 Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in LEEDS.

Day to Day Duties

As an FLT Reach Truck Driver your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Responsible for the transportation of goods and pallets around a warehouse
• Driving/Operating a Reach Truck
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner
• Moving and transporting stock into the correct areas of the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles and pallets from vehicles
• Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required
• Organising stock for deliveries and wrapping and securing
• Stacking and stowing pallets away
• Adhering to Health & Safety at all times and promoting a safe working environment
• Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Organising stock for deliveries and reporting any stock difference to Management
• Promoting a safe work environment and reporting any safety concerns or issues to Management
• Clearing work area of any debris and keeping the traffic routes clear of obstructions.
• Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

As an FLT Reach Truck Driver you will need the following:

• Valid D2/D1 Reach Truck Licence
• Minimum of twelve months experience driving/operating a Reach Truck
• Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in a warehouse or assembly environment is an advantage

Training

• Training will be provided and you will need to pass an Assessment
