NextGen Teachers are recruiting on behalf of our partnership school in West Leeds (Horsforth) who are looking for a full-time Key stage 1 Teacher for a Year 2 Class starting from September 2025 for a permanent position. The school are looking for an experienced Teacher with 3+ years of teaching experience who has excellent knowledge of Phonics and KS1 SATs.

This is a friendly and high-performing three-form entry school with a proven track record of raising attainment. The school are known for their teaching standards and have been graded as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted for over 4 years.

Interviews for this position will take place at the beginning of May.

KS1 Primary Teacher must haves:

  • Must have recent and relevant teaching experience in Year 2 (KS1)
  • Must hold a PGCE and/or equivalent Teaching Qualification valid for teaching in the UK with QTS
  • Strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum in Key Stage 1
  • Both ECT years completed
  • Must have a valid DBS or be prepared to apply for a new and updated one
  • Full-time availability and able to provide 2 professional references
