Joiner – Social Housing (Permanent Role)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to join a dedicated social housing maintenance team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with excellent benefits, working on behalf of a respected housing provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all aspects of joinery including door hanging, kitchen fitting, flooring, and general repairs
  • Respond to reactive and planned maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and housing staff
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery
  • Proven experience in domestic joinery, ideally within social housing
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
