We're looking for a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school on a long-term supply basis from January through July 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to share their love of food, nutrition, and practical skills with students and make a real impact across KS3 and KS4.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering engaging and creative Food Technology lessons that inspire confidence in the kitchen and classroom.
Supporting students in developing practical cooking skills alongside theoretical knowledge of health, nutrition, and food science.
Preparing learners for GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition and encouraging them to aim high.
Contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.
Specialism in Food Technology (or relevant subject background such as Hospitality or Nutrition).
A teacher who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student success.
Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
