We are looking for an R&D Chemist to join a manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The company will consider applicants with at least one year of industry experience or relevant PhD experience.

As the R&D Chemist you will:
- Be involved in research, formulation and testing activities to support the development of new and improved products

Develop and test new formulations in line with project requirements

Improve existing products to meet customer, market or regulatory needs

Conduct laboratory testing, trials and data analysis

Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation

Work with production to scale up products from lab to manufacturing

Keep up to date with industry developments and best practice
To be considered for the R&d Chemist role you will need:We are keen to hear from people who can bring a strong technical foundation and an interest in developing their skills within product research and development.

Degree in Chemistry or related subject, or PhD in a relevant area

At least one year of relevant industry or post-doctoral experience

Knowledge of formulation chemistry and laboratory techniques
