The Role As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving both new business growth and account development across the North West. You’ll be responsible for:
  • Selling and hiring the full range of mechanical handling and processing machinery
  • Providing tailored technical solutions to meet customer needs
  • Managing the full sales cycle – from cold outreach to closing deals and aftercare
  • Preparing accurate and timely quotations
  • Offering on-site technical support and advice
  • Keeping up-to-date with competitor activity to maintain a strong market position
The Ideal Candidate
  • Proven success in capital equipment sales (shredders, crushers, screeners, chippers etc.)
  • Industry experience in waste, recycling, construction, or related sectors
  • Familiarity with OEMs or main dealer operations
  • Confident cold caller with strong new business development skills
  • Technically minded, with the ability to assess customer needs and provide customized solutions
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and demands – strong organizational skills are a must
  • Autonomous self-starter with the ability to manage their own schedule effectively
  • Deep regional knowledge and network within the designated territory
