Key responsibilities of the Content Marketing Manager:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing plan aligned with the overall marketing strategy.

  • Produce, manage, and distribute content across multiple platforms, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media.

  • Oversee and grow the company's social media presence, actively engaging with the audience and building a strong online community.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually engaging and on-brand content.

  • Craft compelling, high-quality copy for various channels such as the website, email campaigns, and advertising materials.

  • Maintain a well-structured content calendar to ensure the timely and consistent delivery of content.

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing, wider marketing team, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives.

  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in content marketing and social media.

  • Track and evaluate content performance using analytics tools, refining strategies to enhance effectiveness.

  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and supports the company's goals.

  • Create and execute strategies to boost website traffic and generate high-quality sales leads.

  • Manage and optimise the organic performance of the website, applying SEO best practices.

Profile

A successful 'Content Marketing Manager' should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a content marketing role, either within an agency or an in-house team.

  • Proven background in B2B marketing, ideally within a similar industry or one facing comparable challenges.
