Job Description:National Business Development Manager Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + Bonus + Car Location: Leeds based – National travel The opportunity: We are seeking a National Business Development Manager for an exciting B2B sales opportunity with a family-run, award-winning company.  As a National Business Development Manager you will be managing a portfolio of new and existing clients, selling pioneering technologies to manufacturers across the UK from Yorkshire to the south coast to support their strategic sales growth plan to take from 13million to 20million.Trusted by high-end clients, the brand is renowned for excellence. The company is also committed to eco-friendly practices, ensuring sustainability in every product. There is an opportunity to progress within this role from a UK market to international building on the long-term client base.If you’re passionate about bespoke, high-end, and eco-friendly products, this is the ideal position for you.Key Responsibilities: 
  • Visiting new and existing customers, building strong, trusting relationships at all levels of management.
  • Meet all targets and deadlines while driving sales growth for key accounts and the wider territory.
  • Work closely with the sales team to implement the most effective sales strategies.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed KPIs at individual, team, and business levels, including revenue, profit, and customer response management.
  • Attend and present at exhibitions both in the UK and internationally.
  • Provide new customers with a clear understanding of our clients’ product range and services, showcasing its innovative, fully integrated manufacturing processes and commitment to sustainability.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a strategic and results-driven sales approach.
What we are looking for:
  • Proven track record in B2B sales – ideally within manufacturing or engineering
  • Self-driven and eager to thrive within the business, consistently seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Confident and excellent communication skills
  • Resilience - Adapts to challenges with a positive mindset, perseveres through difficulties, and remains focused on long-term goals.
  • UK Driving License is essential
  • Flexibility for overnight stays
