The Company

Our Clients journey began in 1994 and have now become one of the leading UK staycations and European coach holidays provider.  They have a fleet of over sixty travel coaches, providing thousands of short breaks and holidays to over fifty destinations across Britain, Ireland and Europe including seaside, coastal and city breaks and much more!

The Role

Due to growth, they are looking for an experienced digital marketer with a passion for paid media & PPC.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking for a senior role seeking ample exposure across all digital channels with a focus and ownership on PPC, a pivotal revenue channel.

You will be second in the digital team meaning you will work closely with and in support of the head of digital marketing and e-commerce. This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from home.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • A focus on developing, optimising and reporting on PPC campaigns for both brands, whilst managing and working closely with our paid media agency. This involves regular calls and meetings, strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting
  • Work closely with our SEO lead and external SEO agency, on strategy and implementation. Play a lead role in our ambition to achieve an optimised omni-channel mix of paid strategy supporting organic search
  • Support the head of e-commerce with strategic planning and wider reporting requirements
  • Work closely with the head of e-commerce with training requirements and where required, support channel leads across the full mix of marketing channels (both digital and direct)
  • Drive wider digital marketing projects and initiatives by working with external agencies and the internal marketing team. Opportunity to lead/support across wider paid channels including display advertising and paid social
  • Contribute to website testing and development with agency support across CRO
  • Support e-commerce with the maintenance of a content management system
  • Support our affiliate lead with developing partnerships and affiliate network channels

Requirements

  • 5 years digital marketing experience and ideally 3 years’ experience within paid media and pay-per-click advertising.
  • Experience working within travel or a fast-paced B2C industry is advantageous, but it’s more important that you have a customer focussed, results driven mentality, with a forward-thinking, can-do attitude.
