Nursery Assistants based in Leeds Needed for Primary Schools and Local Nurseries

At Engage Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting Nursery Assistants for over a decade, so we know a bit about finding the ideal role for you. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to work on a bank staff basis for local primary schools and nurseries in Leeds.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality teaching assistants to work with these schools to positively impact the progress and attainment of their pupils.

Shifts can vary depending on whether you are based in the nursery or primary school.

7:30am until 4:30pm

8:30am until 5:30am

9:30am until 6:30pm

08:15am until 15:30pm

Our Nursery Assistant duties can include:

  • Working with small groups of pupils
  • Providing intervention support for students

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Some experience working with young children or in a school/nursery
  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils'
  • Be energetic and confident enough to work with very young children
  • Have a good understanding of early childhood development
  • A Level 3 EYFS/Childcare qualification or above would be an advantage however not essential if you have the right experience
