Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for a new challenge? We're working with a well-established and respected nursery in Roundhay, Leeds, who are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead their large and thriving setting.
About the Role:As Nursery Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and compliance are consistently maintained. You'll lead a large and dedicated team, fostering a positive and professional working environment where children thrive and staff feel valued.
You'll work closely with senior leadership to implement the Montessori curriculum, supporting holistic child development and a love of learning. While Montessori experience is an advantage, it's not essential - we're looking for someone open-minded and willing to embrace this approach.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead, motivate, and support a large nursery team

Ensure all children receive the highest standards of care and education

Maintain compliance with Ofsted and all regulatory requirements

Drive continuous improvement and development of the nursery

Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nursery Manager

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures

Experience managing large settings and teams

Montessori experience is an advantage but not essential
