Our client, a consultancy in the water engineering sector, is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Leeds on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of software User Requirement Specifications (URS)
- Developing electrical design deliverables from schematic wiring diagrams such as Load and Instrument Drawings
- Designing and providing input to P&IDs
- Utilising AMTECH software for electrical design
- Working knowledge of WIMES and process safety in hazardous areas
- Using 2D Autodesk CAD for design purposes
- Engagement in site installations or commissioning activities
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with the end-to-end project delivery process
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients
- Understanding of process safety and hazardous areas
