Our client, a consultancy in the water engineering sector, is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Leeds on a permanent basis.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of software User Requirement Specifications (URS)
  • Developing electrical design deliverables from schematic wiring diagrams such as Load and Instrument Drawings
  • Designing and providing input to P&IDs
  • Utilising AMTECH software for electrical design
  • Working knowledge of WIMES and process safety in hazardous areas
  • Using 2D Autodesk CAD for design purposes
  • Engagement in site installations or commissioning activities
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards


Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end project delivery process
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients
  • Understanding of process safety and hazardous areas
