Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services with over 45 years of industry experience, is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Leeds. The role is a permanent, full-time position focusing on the data centre sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery
  • Familiarise yourself with project specifications and details
  • Collate technical submittals and follow through until approval
  • Manage the labour tracker and maintain weekly progress reports
  • Report and manage any changes or variations in the project
  • Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team
  • Oversee the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
  • Ensure adequate materials are available to complete the project
  • Implement construction and commissioning programmes on-site
  • Manage the handover process and maintain the document management system
  • Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery
  • Attend general site meetings and action any points raised
  • Communicate project-specific innovations to the Contracts Manager


Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role
  • Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects
  • Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
  • Experience in supervising teams
