As a Principal Civil Engineer, you'll have a hand in every stage of major civil engineering programmes, from strategic vision to delivery on the ground. Our client operates across Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, Education and Water, providing industry-leading solutions throughout the full project lifecycle. You will lead and guide a team in delivering high-quality technical design aligned with the latest standards and codes. You'll craft scopes of work, prepare project briefs, contribute to bids, and confidently manage time and budgets to meet key milestones. Collaboration will be integral as you work with teams across the UK and internationally to deliver coordinated, integrated design solutions, all while maintaining rigorous quality assurance in design.
They need a Chartered Civil Engineer with experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary work. You bring strong expertise in external works design-utilities, paved and unpaved surfaces, earthworks, access, accessibility and construction logistics-and are fully familiar with current UK standards and best practice. You're proficient with relevant digital design and analysis tools such as MicroDrainage, InfoWater, Causeway Flow or InfoWorks.
