They are seeking a hardworking Asbestos Surveyor to join their well-established team and undertake the full range of asbestos surveys on a varied portfolio of client sites. Ideally, candidates will be located in one of the following areas: Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Normanton, Castleford, Barnsley, Holmfirth, Sheffield, Pudsey, Horsforth, Wetherby, York, Otley, Shipley, Morley, Dewsbury, Mirfield, Doncaster, Thorne, Snaith, Worksop, York, Selby, Goole, Dronfield, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Retford, Newark-on-Trent, Matlock, Rotherham, Nottingham, Derby.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must be qualified with the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
- Will have a strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a well-established outfit
- Excellent knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
- Comfortable using IT applications, such as the Microsoft Office suite and industry-related software, such as TEAMS
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexible to travel when required
The Role:
- Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys across a mix of domestic, commercial and public sector client sites
- Collecting asbestos samples from site for analysis
- Writing survey reports based on findings
- Creating site-specific floor plans and schematic drawings
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings and provide technical advice
- Ensuring to work safely and wear the correct PPE at all times
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Working to agreed personal targets and time frames
