Senior Building Surveyor - Leeds | Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits

A1 Personnel are seeking a driven, experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing Leeds team. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality surveying and project management services, and want to work in a collaborative, supportive environment - we want to hear from you.

The Role:You’ll manage a variety of small to medium projects with minimal supervision - overseeing surveys, design work, technical reports, contract admin, and client liaison. You’ll take the lead on delivering work to a high standard, on time and within budget, while mentoring junior team members and helping develop their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on project execution, technical design, reports, and specifications
  • Manage client relationships and project delivery from brief to completion
  • Undertake building surveys, party wall matters, feasibility studies, and contract administration
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members
  • Attend and contribute to site and design meetings
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and project-specific procedures

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Building Surveying
  • Strong track record across project management, building surveys, and contract administration
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Proficient with JCT contracts and Building Regulations
  • Ideally MRICS (or working towards it)
