- Assist with sub-contract enquiries at tender stage.
- Agreeing scope of works and fees with subcontractors for packages.
- Review Sub-Contractor quotes, complete comparisons and raiseorders.
- Assist Commercial Manager updating weekly sign off sheets for the Board of Directors.
- Liaise with Senior Stakeholders on site procurement and allocated projects.
- Provide monthly forecast costs.
- Flexible to support other departments when required.
- Provide support/cover to Commercial Manager.
- Attend Pre-Construction meetingswith internal & external partners.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Proven experience within a Subcontract Buying role.
- Essential construction knowledge.
- Desire to understand/promote the company purpose, vision and values.
- Sage knowledge.
- Essential Microsoft Office Knowledge.
Qualification and Skills:
- Relevant business degree or equivalent experience.
- Self-starter, can-do attitude,desire to embracenew challenges.
- Team player working to tight deadlings & manage workload.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail.
