Baker Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a valued client based in Leeds,who are experiencing continued growth & expansion to join their busy team.

  • Assist with sub-contract enquiries at tender stage.
  • Agreeing scope of works and fees with subcontractors for packages.
  • Review Sub-Contractor quotes, complete comparisons and raiseorders.
  • Assist Commercial Manager updating weekly sign off sheets for the Board of Directors.
  • Liaise with Senior Stakeholders on site procurement and allocated projects.
  • Provide monthly forecast costs.
  • Flexible to support other departments when required.
  • Provide support/cover to Commercial Manager.
  • Attend Pre-Construction meetingswith internal & external partners.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience within a Subcontract Buying role.
  • Essential construction knowledge.
  • Desire to understand/promote the company purpose, vision and values.
  • Sage knowledge.
  • Essential Microsoft Office Knowledge.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Relevant business degree or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter, can-do attitude,desire to embracenew challenges.
  • Team player working to tight deadlings & manage workload.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail.
