About the Role

We are working with a well-established B2B manufacturing business in Leeds, looking to recruit a Sales Support Administrator to join their growing commercial team.

This is a key role supporting the sales function—handling customer enquiries, converting quotes into orders, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. There are excellent career progression opportunities, with a clear path to become an Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely, professional manner

  • Gather technical and commercial information to prepare accurate quotations

  • Convert quotes into sales orders and ensure all necessary details are logged correctly

  • Chase outstanding quotes and follow up with customers to progress opportunities

  • Liaise closely with internal teams including sales, production, and logistics

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order progress

  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide ongoing support

Requirements
  • Experience in a sales support, customer service, or admin role (ideally B2B or manufacturing)

  • Confident, professional communicator – especially over the phone

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Proactive and resilient, with the ability to handle a busy workload

  • Comfortable working with systems and confident using Microsoft Office
