CNC Miller

Permanent Role, £16p/hr to £17p/hr DOE, 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 25 days holiday

LEEDS

Are you an experienced CNC Miller and Programmer with sub-contract Machining experience, looking for a new role? If so, I am looking for you. My client, is a busy Precision Engineering company based in Leeds.

Ideally, you will be Apprentice Trained; however, my client will employ experienced, time served CNC Millers. Key requirements for the role include:

-Must be able to Program, Set, Edit and Operate

-HAAS, Fanuc, Siemens or Prototrak experience is essential

-Experience of Machining up to 4-axis

-Good experience of Sub-Contract work

-Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze & Plastic

-Machining bespoke small to medium batch size components (2’s to 100’s)

-CNC Turning experience would be beneficial

-Working to tight tolerances

Day to day duties of this role include:

-Programming, setting and operating CNC’s to produce accurate, quality components

-Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling

-Managing your work schedule

-Self inspecting all manufactured components

-Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards

You will be contracted to 40hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday. The starting Pay Rate for the role is experience dependant ranging between £16p/hr up to £17p/hr. Overtime is available during busy periods throughout the week.
