My client a well established Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based in West Yorkshire is looking for an M&EProject Manager to join their team.

They deliver a full M&E package on commercial, public sector, leisure and industry, throughout the UK. Theirmission is to provide an exceptional high standard of design, installation and service to all our customers.

Duties

  • Leading project teams to ensure technical accuracy of project deliverables
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Technical reviews
  • Managing direct labour and subcontractors
  • Procurement of subcontractors/specialist subcontractors and materials
  • Ongoing monitoring of project schedules, costs & quality
  • Upward reporting to more senior management on project progression
  • Preparation of site specific Health & Safety Documentation
  • Identify health & safety requirements
  • Handovers/closing out projects

Competencies

  • Experience within the construction industry
  • Liaising with customers & other construction professionals
  • Assessing & minimising risk
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and knows when to seek guidance
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities, deadlines and budgets
  • Works well under pressure

Qualifications/Experience

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • Experience as an electrical/mechanical engineer or a good understanding of mechanical and electrical services
