The Role: Remortgage Conveyancer

As a Remortgage Conveyancer, you will manage a high-volume caseload of complex remortgage transactions from instruction to completion, including:

  • Transfers of equity
  • Shared ownership matters
  • Defective title issues
  • Deeds of postponement
  • Estate rent charges
  • Complex restrictions

You’ll handle approximately 150 new remortgage instructions per month, supported by an advanced case management system. The role involves regular contact with clients, borrowers, lenders, and third parties, ensuring transactions are completed smoothly and efficiently.

You will also contribute to the team's success by sharing technical knowledge and supporting a collaborative, positive team culture.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in remortgage or residential conveyancing
  • Technical expertise in areas such as shared ownership, transfers of equity, deeds of postponement, defective title, or similar
  • Ability to manage volume caseloads with precision and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure
