Overview:A business in Leeds is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity for a Credit Controller who is looking to take ownership of the credit control function in a supportive and professional environment.
Role Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and chasing outstanding debt

Making outbound calls and emails to recover overdue payments

Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts

Sending statements and reminders in line with credit control procedures

Handling and resolving invoice queries

Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller

Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills

Ability to manage relationships with both customers and internal teams

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
